After a year of live dates, Stuart and the band were ready to head into the studio with their best material.

In January of 2006, the band met Elliot Easton (guitarist for The Cars, The New Cars) at a rehearsal for the 2006 Road Rage tour. Elliot listened to some of SGB live tracks, and instantly, the slot of producer was filled.

Elliot teamed up with Grammy Award winning Engineer Mark Linnet (Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, Paul McCartney, Elton John), and during some rainy days in February of 2006 (yes, it rains in LA), the songs were recorded and mixed.
